To the people saying that Sharpton has no political experience. George Washington, Ulysses S. Grant and Eisenhower didn't have political experience either. If Sharpton has a message that other candidates aren't delivering, then he should run. Running for President does not require electability, it requires a message. I doubt Ross Perot or Ralph Nader thought they could win, but they believed the other candidates did not have the right message, so they ran. It is about getting your message to the people.

He claims to be a reverand. Where is his church? He has no morals. he was caught lying in the famous Tawana Brawley fiasco where he and the girlTawana Brawley purposely lied to ruin an inocent white mans reputation in the 1980's in New york city. He was ordered by the court to pay mmoney to Steven Pagones the man that Al Sharpton lied about and slandered his reputation. To this day he has not paid that money.

When he ran for mayor of New York city. Al Sharpton won the democratic primary so he would have been able to run against Guliani for the office of Mayor of New York city but in a voting scam he lost to a white lady named Ruth Messenger when the voting machines in many black neighborhoods broke on the primary election day and they had to wait several weeks for absentee mail in votes to be counted. Several weeks later when the count was finished it was decided that he lost. (sounds much like happened in florida many years later to Al Gore in the 2000 election.

Well to make a long story short Al Sharpton could have exposed the voting scam and proven that he had rightly won the primary election to officially represent the democratic party for the mayors election in New York city, yet he kept his mouth shut and said nothing and took the payoff and that is when the media left him alone and did not bother him anymore and he was free to cause a strain on race relations in New York City. he took the hush money and did not protest his losing in an unfair primary election.

The man has absolutely no morals just like every other politician. The difference being that he always said he would not be just as corrupt as the rest of the pliticians.

That is why Al Sharpton will not run for president because he has a lot of dirty laundry that would be exposed to the public in the same way that former democratic governor of New York state Mario cuomo who was quite popular for many years as governor never ran for president of the United States because he too had a lot of dirty laundry like Al Sharpton.

Thank you for reading htis comment and have a nice day.

Reverend Sharpton (and I use the term "reverend" loosely, is a loudmouth racist. If you don't believe what I'm saying, tune into his radio show and listen to the racial drums being beaten.....daily. Once one problem goes by the wayside, Bingo, he has another case of how the world is against the blacks. Personally, I feel he shames the black community by constantly playing the race card and then laughs all the way to the bank.

If he ran for president and won...I would leave this country. He is absolutely not qualified. He is not running because he has a lot of skeletons in his closet and as much as he loves calling other people out on crap (and over exaggerating it), he couldn't deal with it if the tables were turned. Him and Jesse Jackson both for that matter...lying, manipulative trouble makers! Obama is way more qualified!

I would say yes but he is too radical and i think back in the 90s Alan Keyes had a very good shot at trying to get there but the public wasnt quite ready i guess... i liked alan but like i say ... i dont know why he didnt do it.

Sharpton has ZERO political experience. He is a shakedown artist. He is even worse than Obama.

He really would help by slanting the dems more into the liberal camp and thereby hurt their chances in the general election. I think he should run again.
