The asker only puts thanks instead of something with a little more emotion sp you know they if they reall enjoyed your answered or not.
I'm happy I at least got picked but I would like to see a response other than thanks.

No it does't bother me. I am new to this whole answer scene and just really want to offer some help to some one in need if I can.
Response or no response is okay, people are very complex and why should I drive myself crazy over an incorrect response or no response at all. I have no idea what kind of life these people are living and I can only pray for them and hope the best for their lives and problems.

I'm always thrilled to be picked! Seeing those Best Answer emails in my box just adds a few extra rays of sunshine to my day.
But I must admit I do like to read what comment I got with my answer. I dont mind what it is though, its more curiosity being sated then rating someone on their comment.

kind of but what gets me the most is if they only give 1 or 2 stars, but i'm just being petty i'm always glad to get the 10 points, i'm trying like crazy to get to level 5 i had know idea it took so much to reach a level!

It doesn't bother me here, but when I'm on Hobbies and Crafts, and I believe I have given a person a well thought out answer, offering the benefit of my experience, and some good web sites they can look at for more information, and I get a " thanks" I sometimes think it wasn't appreciated.

a thanks response gets a no answer. There are many that don't even say thanks. But what grinds my gears even more is askers letting answerer's pick best answer because the asker was too damn lazy to come back to finish the job.

its nice to get some comments...but i think it is better having your answer selected by the person asking rather than the voters..only because then you know that your answer was actually helpful to them
