i stuck a peice of paper towel into a pipe and it got stuck inside about 6 inches from each end any ideas?

i need to find a way to get it out. i have tried pushing it out with a couple of pencils but it didnt budge...

Use a shop vac, make a seal around the end of the pipe and turn on the vac.

You probably can use a piece of wire and wet the paper and use the wire like a drill. Any attempt to just push it out will cause the paper to expand and get tighter. Drill it out a little at a time until the paper is free to move then maybe flush it out with water.

Better still, paper burns and pipe doesn't. If you have a butane torch, light it, and hold the pipe over the flame in the center where the paper is stuck. The pipe will transfer the heat directly to the paper inside, and continue to heat the pipe until the paper begins to burn and smoke like crazy. Make sure you are holding on to the pipe with a pair of plyers or something similar, cause the heat will actually transfer the full length of the pipe. The paper will eventually fall right out, or burn up completely to ash which can then be washed out.

Do you have access to a pair of long kitchen tongs? If they fit in the pipe you could use those, or a pair of long nose pliers to grab it. If the pipe's too small, or you don't have those, do you have a wire coat hanger? Untwist the two ends, make a small hook on one end and see if you can get it out with that. Or maybe you could use a vacuum cleaner to suck it out? Or if the pipe is a piece could you blow it out?

If you are able, pour plenty of water into the pipe this will soften the paper towel and make it easier to push out.

If both ends are open, use a larger stick, or try wetting the towel. If only one end is open, try salad tongs or possibly a vacuum hose.

how long is the pipe?? if it is short enough.....try pushing water thru it like in the sink or use a hose. also a vacuum would work...but not if you already wet it. or you can try anything u have that will fit and is longer than a penci like coat haanger

Undo a wire coat hanger and make a little hook at one end and try to pull it out, rather then push it further down.
