No but he was more then just a teriffic player he was a GREAT player but unfortantly he had back problems that took away his ablitys way too soon. Being a Yankee will help his cause for election but with him never going to the playoffs and only playing around 14 years he will fall short.

Sadly, No. He had hall of fame numbers during his career, but his career was cut short with the Yankees due to back problems. He will join a list of other great Yankees that will not make the hall of fame either: Rich "Goose" Gossage and Thurman Munson.

Unfortunately not. Donnie Baseball was an incredible ball player, but he didn't play for a long enough period of time. He has a bad back, which contributed greatly to his short career.

Hopefully not! The guy is the biggest prick I have ever met and I have also had the priveldge of meeting Barry Bonds who believe it or not was actually pretty damn cool.
