It really depends on the time of conception. The Shettles method believes that the closer to ovulation you have sex the more likely it is that you will have a boy. However, if you have sex two or three days prior to the egg being released, you have a better chance of having a girl. Basically, if you have intercourse right at or near ovulation then the Y sperm will make it to the egg quickly and you will have a boy, whereas if the sperm is released two or three days before the egg, the Y sperm will die off and there will be more X sperm left waiting for the egg to appear and fertilization will most likely result in a girl.

The sex (gender) of all children is determined by the father and not by the mother. You are not necessarily more likely to have a male child.

No the dad's chromosomes decided the gender of the baby it's just a 50/50 toss up each time.

In my family there are 4 boys. I have one daughter, Jeff has 2 girls and 1 boy, Jim has 2 girls and 1 boy, Brad has 5 girls and 2 boys. Glad i'm not Brad.

my grandma had a boy then a boy then twin girls then another boy then a girl... my aunt had 2 boys.... both uncles had 1 girl other aunt had 3 boys....my other unlce had 4 boys....my mom had a boy then a girl then a girl then a boy....my boyfirends mom had 3 boys and then finally had a girl... we had a girl.... i think its all chance there isnt really a way to determine which sex you have.... its a 50/50 chance..... sorry
