My Gold Severum is acting weird?

One of my gold severums will sometime shake and then pick up a gravel in its moth and drop it.. What the hek is he doing?

I assume that when you say one of my that you have more than one, cichlids like the severum and discus shimmy in front of the opposite sexed fish flashing there colours, severum are diggers and tend to build nests by shifting gravel around, i would say that they in the process of breeding if he can attract the female sufficiently.

Use maracyn or maracyn 2. Treat tank for about 3-5 days. Your Severum should be ok.
