Oh my gosh, I thought this question was going to be.... Oh, nevermind. ;)
Well, I make a grocery list, so that I don't forget to get what I need. It's not usually very fancy, like I might use the back of an old receipt or an envelope at the last minute. I'll notice while walking down the aisles that I forgot something, and so sometimes I'll walk down extra aisles just to be sure that I got everything I needed (or wanted). Fortunately, the grocery store is the type of place where it's difficult to buy something you don't need... After all, you'll always need to eat, and so it won't go to waste. ;)

Ready made list on my phone. And why?
1. I can't concentrate on thinking about the things I need while in store. Everything looks wonderful there!
2. What can be worse than spending time and organize the shopping list, then forget to take it to the store? Only if you were ever in my shoes...

No when I go to the store I usually know what we need before I go so I don't need a list.

i buy on instinct..
i walk/race down the isle and look over things, if i get a "pang" instinctively, i buy it.
occasionally i'll forget things i'd hoped to buy, but on the plus side, i always buy things i didn't know i'd need.
like buying arrowroot biscuits and then a friend visits and their kid get sick, and they need to eat nothing bar arrowroots.
or when you buy insect spray even though you know you've got one in the cupboard. and then when you go to use the one in the cupboard you discover the nozzle doesn't work so you have to use the new one.
that's something i inherited from my mama, good ol' mum. xx

I try to make a list but I never do..so if I see something I need I just grab it.

I will usually make a list, the bad part is I always forget to take it with me.
