Does it always smell like fish?

You know what i'm talking about.

I don't exactly get around too much, but there was this girl at the frat party....you know the story. So i'm assuming it was just because she had been dancing all night.

This is a serious question, I know a lot about the female body but not this. What's the deal? Was it just sweat, or was there a more serious issue?

Any smell should be very light. If it's heavy or "disgusting" then that probably means that the woman might have a yeast infection or just doesn't keep up on their hygiene as well as another woman might. When women take good care of themselves down there, it should be a natural and normal smell. Certainly nothing to run from :)

The smell of a woman can tell you more than you may be willing to want to know. Each woman has a unique smell to her and the strength of the smell is what is really important. I sweat but I don't smell like fish. She may have a bacterial imbalance in her vagina. Many women use a doushe to fix the problem. Although it is alright if a doctor says so, but in reality it causes more harm. There are benificial bacteria in the vagina but a doushe kill all types. That is one potential reason, but the most prevelant reason is she could just have bad hygene. Don't just assume because the last thing you should do is do have sex with a woman who may be hidding things from you. Common STDs do not have a particular smell, instead they have physical symptoms, but they can also remain dormant. Herpies is one type of STD that you can carry for years and not know until symptons begin to come up. Think about it...how many people would tell others about their personal problems when they, like you, are just out to have fun. What are you going to do if she wants to have oral sex? Just avoid the situation and any chance of an uncomfortable situation by just treating her like another friend. On your part what will she think if you get yourself in that situation and little Mr. Willie won't rise for the occasion? Women talk and even if you tell the truth it hurts a whole lot more for the guy to be accused of being limp than the girl to have a stinky pussy, aspecially since she has the upper hand and she can come up with many excueses. If she is really turned on and wanted to turn you into her toy then go take a shower with her. If the smell dose not dissapear it is time for you to move away. Now, if this girl intrestest more than just your nether regions get to know her, and talk to her. If she likes you as much as she should she will be honest.

Bacterial Vaginosis (not an STD) can cause a foul "fishy" smelling discharge. BV is an imbalance of the normal bacterial flora of the vagina. It is mostly seen in women who are sexually active, but women can get it without having sex. It is curable and cannot be transmitted to a sexual partner. Although they don't understand what directly causes BV, the most common culprits are douching (it is NEVER good for a woman to douche!) washing the genitals with harsh soaps, and sexual activity. Semen is alkaline, and it can throw off the balance of normal bacteria.

The vagina should have no offensive odor in a healthy female.
Yeast infections or thrush will NOT cause a "fishy" smelling discharge!

Sometimes the mixing of two people's bodily fluids can make a fish like smell, it's just the way their body chemistries react to each other. Sometimes an infection or disease can smell fishy. You really can't go by that. Sometimes a disease or infection will smell foul and sometimes like nothing at all.
My disgusting ex brother in law had this saying "If it smells like fish, it's a main dish. If it smells like cologne, leave it alone." He does make a good point. I would be more worried about a vagina that smells like flowers.

All women have different scents. That may be her natural odor or it could be due to poor hygiene. The only way to really know is to do it again.lol
However I have heard from male friends..some women just smell funkier than others. Aslo a yeast infection will also have a similar odor at times...careful with that.

it could be that she was sweaty, but i doubt it. some girls have a mild bacterial infection that is super easy to get considering the media the vagina supports. it's warm and dark and excellent breeding ground for whatever bacterium decides to live there.

her normal flora may be thrown off temporarily.

but no, not everyone smells like a fish market. the vagina has a great cleaning or non-smelly ability. it does this with its own normal flora that is unique to each individual and is responsible for keeping things in check.

don't let one bad one turn you off to the whole lot. (smile)

It depends. A very foul smell is indicative of an infection or condition. Sometimes, the "fish smell" is due to a woman's upcoming or nearing period. The "ehem" changes odor throughout the cycle.

if girl's are made of sugar,and spice .
how come they smell ,like Tuna?LOL
with that said ,i don't give a doo doo how much dancing ,or even missing one shower ,it should not smell like fish .
there's a difference between a few hrs ,or day's .
the girl needs to be introduced to some good soap,and a douche ,and maybe some pampering .

If it smells super fishy something is wrong, but if it's a light smell then it's just the sweat and nothing to get worried about.
