The states in the west are further west than the states in the east. What do you want to know about them? Historically, the eastern states were settled first. Generally, the western states are larger-sized than their eastern counterparts.

well...the western states are bigger. they're less populated. some have older buildings like the ones that the native Americans built before the pilgrims got to the east. (not sure about the last one heard that on TV). they have a wide range of biomes or climates like the desert in California and the mountains in Colorado...i think climates makes more sense.

What about them? I prefer the Eastern US. Too many prairies and mountains in the west.
