I love when my boyfriend kisses me and we've been together for 5yrs and we are in love! but there are some periods of times when he kisses me that I feel an urge to wipe my mouth and anything else that he kisses...and if i dont its like when you have an itch and cant reach it!.. i just feel like pushing him and wiping me face really fast and hard and its like an itch!!! but im not disgusted (a little) and it make sme angry because there are days when there is no absolute problem and I love it... what can I do????

Your obsession would be around germs, which is the most common obsession in OCD I think.

Your compulsion would be to wipe your... whatever he kisses.

However, these obsessions need to be frequent, unwanted, and likely pervade all other areas of life, such as touching rails, door handles, chairs, toilet seats, sinks, etc. etc. The compulsions would have to impair some aspect of your social, academic, occupational [or other important area of] functioning. Your so-called obsession doesn't meet DSM-IV standards for an obsession, nor does it appear that your compulsions are severe enough to warrant such a diagnosis as OCD.

You're doing what I like to call "psyching yourself out." Remember that germs are everywhere and they won't kill you.

This may occur at times when he is being a little too aggressive and you feel a lack of control over the situation.

If that's the case, you can develop some subtle cues for him to perceive that will convince him to back off when you are not in the mood.
