Why is there so much racism towards white people?

I see there are more hate crimes commited against whites than any other race. Also there are so many racist shows and a couple of completely anti-white networks. What is going on here?
Can this be stopped or is it okay?

No it's not okay.
This thing goes on because people have not yet moved on from what their ancestors have done from the past.
It's harder to carry a grudge that eats you rather than forgive and move on. That's why these shows are present because this is how people think they can get back on them, when really no one can do anything about it - change the past.

We should not pay for the faults of our fathers.

I don't really care what other people think about me and my race. I know some people have given us a bad rep. On the other hand, I have lived in a mostly black area all my life. I guess I was singled out as "the white girl" many times, but once I hit middle school I started getting mean. Some people think I am outrageous because I will get furious if someone calls me white girl or cracker, it isn't that big of deal, but I am not putting up with it. Same as if I called someone ******. They would get mad. No it is not okay. However, if you don't say anything then people don't acknowledge the issues.

Equal Rights...... that's what the dream was supposed to be. Somehow, it got turned on it's head, and morphed into a different type of racism. Even whites hate whites....I hear more whitey jokes told by people than I ever heard the other way around. I don't want to hear it either way. Martin Luther's dream was not meant to become the reality of racism today. He never promoted racism of any kind, reverse or otherwise. I can't figure out why generations today think that treating people badly today equates getting back at those who behaved badly in the past. To me that's like waiting to punish your child's bully by hurting their children years after the fact. Makes no sense does it?

All races have to deal with racism not just white people. I don't know whats going on in the world or if it can be stopped. I just know that I'm not a racist person and this racist **** is kind of getting old.

Well the same way people generalize how Latinas just keep having babies, and that black people are loud, people also generalize at the idea that white people think they are better than everyone else.

Of course that is not true, not all white people think they are better. So its wrong to be racist against all or some white people, its wrong in general.

No, it is not okay. I really wish it would stop, too.

But, I know I don't have to be a party to it. I know I can't stop everyone, but I know I can regulate how I feel, think and act.

well the hate crimes commited against whites for the most part are way different then the ones that whites commit against people who are not white world wide. i am white i am not a racist against any one but i do understand why it takes place. whites have colonised countries on every continent. all of north africa, south american countries, most of sub sahara africa, india, and a couple other countries in asia. lets not forget the middle east. when you see the majority of murder that has been commited by the white people over the centeries it is nothing compared to what non whites have done to whites. i am talking bigger then american history i am speaking world wide. 75% of south african land to this day is white owned. this is even after nelson mandela became president of south africa. at his time it was 80% of the land being owned by whites over there. this is ironic considered that their country is the land of the brown people. right now farmers there are being massacured every day. you can see this on the documentary film channel. there are articles all over the internet on the subject. white people colonise countries and opress the natives now it the name has changed to occupation. the only country in the world to actually use a nuclear bomb was america. back in ww2. white people do everything in their power to ensure that other countries do not gain access to weapons of mass destruction but ironically it is white people who kill thousands with weapons of mass destruction. all the major world wars were fought between white people. apart from the japs. white people go to other people's land and take over. there was an interesting story about the black wall street in tulsa oklahoma back in the early 1900's. these people had their own economy and these black people took excellent care of their community. they were making their own economic system. when the white people saw how well they were doing the government actually bombed them. when the black people say the white man did everything in their power to keep them down in a way they are not lying. i would urge you to look it up. we all know that statistics in this country show more black and hispanics are drug users by ratio then whites and it is the government who allows it to be smuggled in. then they are pushed openly in manoirty neighborhoods. in an upper scale white community there would not be drug users and pimps walking around every where. the cops would throw them in jail immediatly. look at the rowandan genocide in 1994. the belgium had colonised them for years on end. they put the hutu in power and left the tootsies to die like dogs. they knew what was happening and the whites world wide did nothing to stop it. remember they created the problem. whites have a power of invading other nations and creating civil wars. even right here in america the whites all had to band together to fight off the british who were taxing them and not allowing them to be an independent nation. white people even opress other whites. politically what black ruler of any nation has any real say in the united nations. hate crimes commited in this country against whites are only against those whites who are poor. you never see hate crimes being commited against white people in rich neighborhoods or upper suburbs of america. this is because these people pay more taxes so the government makes sure that their police patrol it better. you also have to look at oppurtunities that minorities do not have. example if a person has commited a felony then they loose their right to vote. majority of people in american prisons are not of white ethnicity. so as you can see it is the non white people who loose their right to vote. hense the reason many of them have no say. this can not be stopped until the world stops. until the richer countries stop opressing and bullying poorer nations. in this country when laws change and fair trials are given to eveyone and the poor actually have a voice like in a true democracy this will never cease to exist.

i feel u.and im black!.its a shame some of u do have it hard. black ppl treat white ppl wrong all the time. and for sum strange reason its okay.but alot of white ppl do it too. we shoudlnt point fingers. but i agree something has to be done

at my school we had to go up to the white people in our class and say something mean, and to the minorities say something nice. something about experiencing the other way around... 2 ppl started crying, it was so backward...its getting rele weird.

of course its not okay, but racism will never be stopped. The best we can hope for is a version of Rev. Jackson and the like.
