Alright I asked this same question with the NFC east and i got very good answers. So who do you think will make it to the playoffs? Jay Cutler and the Broncos? Larry Johnson and the Chiefs? LaDainian Tomlinson and the Chargers? Or the maybe "surprise team" the Raiders? Your predictions?

I think it's still the Chargers although I don't see them any better than 12-4. Too much focus is being placed on the coaching change, although I don't think Turner is a great coach he might just be the kind of "caretaker" coach that this team stacked with talent needs, rather than bringing in someone with no experience. Denver with Cutler is a year away and Huard will have to prove that he's not just a one year wonder, considering last year was his 10th in the league and the first time we've seen any production out of him. As for the Raiders...well better but not good.

Denver will win the division on the strength of their defense. (I shudder to think of Philip Rivers throwing one of his lame ducks up agaist Bailey, Bly, and Lynch!)

This division is so loaded with rushers that it is hard to believe! I guess that compensates for the sorry state of the quarterback and receiving positions (with the obvious exception of the tight end position with the league's best being Gates and Gonzalez)! It's not inconceivable that Tomlinson, Johnson, and Henry all go over 1500 yards, maybe even 1600. Sadly, the raiders come up empty here again.

There are plenty of good defenses here as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see San Diego, Denver, and Oakland all in the top 10. If I were to order them I'd probably go Denver, Oakland, San Diego, and yes KC you are terrible again. Denver needs to develop a pass rush and San Diego some pass coverage. Oakland is the best balanced of the 3 and all are good against the run.

In coaches I would rate them as Shanahan, Edwards, Turner, and Kiffin

So, I'm saying the division will end up Denver, San Diego, Kansas City, and Oakland. Of these, Denver and San Diego will be playing in January.

oakland has a new QB, so i dont think they will be that good right away, maybe they will be in the future.

chiefs dont have a good QB after green leaves and i just dont feel like theyre as good as denver or san diego.

broncos have a good defense and i like cutler a lot i think he will have a big year next year.

chargers are the team to beat. and i think they will be the winners of the AFC west although i dont think they will repeat with a 14 win season. they have the best RB in the game and the best TE in the game and they still have a pretty good defense. so i pick the chargers.

i like chargers i don't like the raiders playing with a new QB which they have done for the last how many years Larry Johnson's good but i think that's all the chiefs have. jay cutler good yes but the running game of the broncos isn't what it needs to be i don't think they will challenge but no telling what shannahan will do

The Raiders - have fixed their Offensive line. Fired every coach from last year that was involved with the offense. No more distractions in Randy ( Fu**ing) Moss. #3 Rank Defense. #1 against the Pass. Could very well be the New Orleans Saints(3-13) of 2006.

Chargers are gonna have the best record in their division... They are stacked from top to bottom at most positions

If Craig Davis can do anything for the receiving corps, watch out!

---

But the Denver Broncos are the team gonna be making all the headlines... That defense is gonna be stellar and the offense is gonna be good as well

Both 10th (ish) ranked
