Normally you have to go on a special diet and then introduce food items one at a time. But the specialist will give you the diet and details of when to introduce what foods. Otherwise they may want to do a scratch test on your skin.

ur comparing chocolate with death...being allergic to choclate would be better, cause u have ur friends and ur family, possibly kids, i dont kno if u have kids, hope dis helped
