From the information I found, it seems like an antihistamine is your best bet (Benadryl and what not). But you can compare active ingredients to see if you can find something with the same stuff. I would advise you to check with your doctor first, as most drugs are not tested on pregnant women so it just isn't known what it could do to your baby. The website I was looking at has some more informations about relaxing and sleeping positions that may help. Good luck and congrats!!

definite, Tylenol PM is high quality. The energetic aspects are tylenol (that's honestly ok) and benadryl, which medical doctors oftentimes say is high quality. Like others have reported, attempt to no longer make a habit of it, because of the fact you will desire to be getting sleep of course, yet sleep is significant. additionally evaluate doing somewhat different issues, like getting workout, warding off caffeine, and not observing television. after a definite time. those have helped me.

I've been told it's perfectly fine. The only difference between tylenol & the PM version is the PM version has an added sleep aid, which is also safe in pregnancy.

I don't feel it's worth the risk. Take a warm shower and drink some sleepy time tea (celestial seasonings). It really helps! Try to read before you go to sleep, not watch TV. Insomnia is normal during pregnancy. You don't want to take drugs unless absolutely necessary. I know it's OK to occasionally take Tylenol, but the PM has other things. I was going to say my friend was able to take Benadryl. You should definitely, without hesitation ask your OBGYN first. Good Luck

My doctor gave me the green light for Tylenol PM and it was a total lifesaver, especially the last few weeks. I slept so much better, especially knowing that once baby comes home, there is no more sleep for a while!!
Check with your doctor though, especially if you are high risk or prone to any complications.

Never taking any medication without consulting your physician. You should get used to not sleeping now. But, if you really feel you need it, there are usually nurses on call 24/7 to answer questions like these. Ask your doctor for a list of medications that are okay to take during your pregnancy. I got one from my doctor on my first visit, I was so glad I could take tums. Unless someone on here is an obgyn I would definitely talk to your doctor before taking medication.

As far as I know, that should be fine. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is used alot in pregnancies. Of course, Tylenol is considered safe to use while pregnant but check out the link below to read up on the diphenhydramine.

Look at the bottle and read it does it have a warning that pregnant women should not take this drug. Call you doctor or pramacy and ask to talk directly to the licenced pharmacist or physician. Don't take anything before consulting the experts
