I'm not sure about this one. It seems to me that there are some people who are so needy and affection starved that if you show them some kindness or affection, they just latch onto you and can't let go.
Some kind of aberration or problem I'm not sure I understand.
They become so focused on one person that they seem to block out all reason and rationale. Eerie, creepy.
