all those times in our past that mean so much to us? Im not even talking about an old love or anything...Im talking about those "good ol days" when we were younger and at our prime, being with those friends we call "true friends". I think we all know we get older, things change, and so do our surroundings...but do you ever get nostalgia so bad it hurts?

Yes, I think about the "good old days all the time, but one day, these will be the "good old days" also.

Well, I'm 41 and know what you mean. I think it's called a mid-life crisis. I know it's really not that bad, but the reality of actually being old does suck sometimes. I just try and enjoy my kids and not dwell on the past. Try taking up a hobby or exercising. I find being with family and present friends helps alot as well.

Oh yes I do. Ive cried at times about it. I love my life now and everything but I do really miss the "good ol' days" sometimes where the only worries I had was who I was going to hang with that night.

Yes, sometimes I really wish I could go back to my childhood days. Life was so happy and simple back then. Things are changing and I miss the "good ol' days" a lot.

I think you finally get to a place where you can reminisce about the "good ol days" with a laugh and a smile. Then those memories make you happy, not sad.

We don't get over them, we live through the times and place the memories inside to bring back when we need them to go forward for one more day. keep your memories, good and old they will always be used as retold and you will have that life to share when you are with that special one who cares for you until the end of time.

I won't even re-due my bathroom walls because I have over 20 years of graffiti wrote on them. A lot of people that wrote things on my walls are gone now but I won't forget them or when they wrote whatever they had on their mind at the time :)

Yes. for me it's like "I wish I knew then what I know now..."
There was a lot of confusion and lack of experience at times.
Some of us still get together which we in turn see the rest of the extended crew. We even see each other / get together at our children's schools.
