OMG!! This should NOT be coming up in your kitchen sink!
Major health hazard.
Does it also come up in the other drains? Tub, shower, lavatories?
Does the other appliances drain well? Clothes washer, dishwasher etc.

If the water eventually drains but the solids are still there, plunging is indeed the first step.
If it was running over when you flushed it, fill the bowl with a pan or similar as much as possible, without splashing all over as your`re plunging.
If the solids are very big, they may have to be broken up a little first (sorry).

If you can get the solids to go down at all, flush again while continuing to plunge.
Do this as many times as it takes.
You will eventually get a clear drain (:>

Lot of good answers here for unclogging a LIGHT clog so one of them might work for you.
Did`nt mean to write a book here but this does get rather involved.
And you Really need to see why it`s coming up in the kitchen sink!
Just getting it to flush is one thing.
Attacking the Cause is what I`ll try to address here.

If the other appliances drain well, try setting one of them to drain about the same time as you flush. This sometimes opens the main drain and helps create suction if not too much water is run.
Either way, I would take the trap off under the kitchen sink and run a power snake as FAR as I could go, as FAST as I could get it done!
If you have a cleanout pipe where it heads for the main sewer line or septic tank, also run the snake away from and In towards the house.
If you hit any stubborn blockages, these are probably roots (Esp. if you have a small tree near your bathroom window, bigger trees in close proximity to the side of the house where the main drain is, and they are not getting enough water).
You`ll have to have a root chopper on the end of the snake.
If you don`t have a cleanout you`ll have to dig down and and make you one.
Best to see if you can find where someone else has busted/cut a cleanout hole
in the main drain at some other point in time. It will be covered loosely with a cut and spread tin coffee can or plastic and will more than likely ALSO be where the roots are getting in.
A plumber can find this Easily running a camera in the pipes.
I would Have to have them run the thing from my kitchen sink too!

They charge from $75 up to run this IF thy don`t have to dig.
$90 an hour plus the camera, otherwise.
All this last paragraph is assuming most of the other drains are slow too.

If you ONLY have a problem with the toilet drain and none of the other solutions are working, take the commode out and check for hair roots coming in around the top of the main drain. (Esp if the part about the tree next to the bath window is true).

I have the Same BM problem as you but can eventually get it to go on down by plunging and raising the tank water level to just below the drain spout.

So, good luck with it! I have Great empathy for you.

I *know* this is a frustrating/traumatic experience but keep your chin up (esp while plunging the nasty stuff(:>

Unfortunately, me and a family member have the same problem and we don't even have one of the newer water saving units. I really wanted to try the super flushers, but there are too many reports of it leaking or blowing up. So, just let your pooh sit in the toilet for a while, then flush. Doesn't seem to be a problem then. If you tend to have large, hard pooh, then you might need a special 'poo' plunge that is easy clean and just clean the toilet more often.

a family member has this same problem too, he poors a little veggie oil in the toilet before flushing it so that the poo goes down a little better. Let it sit for a few minutes after dumping oil in and the way it goes. He does it all of the time, if not he has a mess all over the floor too.

#1: don't flush right away. Let the water do a little "softening".

#2 Go to your drug store and buy a stool softener. Look for the ingredient "colace". You can use it on a regular basis. It takes about 12 hours to work.

#3 Drink more fluids.

Instead of flushing, get a bucket of water and pour it into the the commode from a slightly higher elevation and as fast as you can. Just be sure you don't so much water that you over flow the commode.

Install a better toilet. I put one in my house, we call it the "super flusher". It uses suction and water to force the contents down. It's incredible! However, do not do any courtesy flushing while seated--you might lose your manhood!

Its called a multi flush dump
Inital push... and flush at the same time (helps with the smell too)
Last push...flush
Paperwork complete...flush
Pat yourself on the back for giving birth...
Or go to commercial plumbing

sorry don't know the answer to your question but it reminded me of my ex who used to have the same problem so when we visited my parents for the weekend he would leave and go to a gas station to use the bathroom!
