You drank it----if you couldn't tell it was too sweet when you were drinking it, it's YOUR FAULT if you got a sugar rush.....a glass of kool-aid cannot give you diabetes....HOWEVER, if you HAVE diabetes, a strongly sweetened glass of Kool-Aid could do a number on you... but leave your poor aunt alone... it wasn't HER fault---no one FORCED you to drink it-----it's not like she was trying to be the next Jim Jones.... (look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about)...

I'm diabetic now and I don't plan on sueing my dead relatives because they had crappy genes!
More than like you are genetically predisposed to getting diabetes . The best bit of advice I can give you is watch your carbs, watch your sugars or you WILL end up getting it! See a nutritionist because it seems like you are not out of the woods yet. Especially if you one day plan on having children.

okay, well i don't think you should sue your aunt, this could have been caused by anyone with anything, Chances are she didn't know you were Sugar Sensitive, otherwise i doubt a person would do that, and You can't get Biabetes With one incident of sugar intake, It's over a prolonged period of time, Geneticly, so DON'T SUE her, She's family, even if you don't like her, and you might drive a wedge between yourself and your family if you pull a stunt like that.

yep sue her, and sue the glass manufacturer for providing a suitable container for putting the concoction in.
Whats Kool-Aid can we get them and the water supplier aswell?
Your mother we can get her for giving birth to you with a problem.
Your father for siring you with the problem.
How far back can we go with this?
Doctors delivered you with such a debilitating problem, we've got a case here you obviously should have been aborted?
any more suggestions for this class action......
i call it class action because i can join in aswell seen as im diabetic type 1. and ive never heard such drivel in my life,

You have to have a predisposition towards diabetes to get it. You can't get it from too much sugar. So you aren't likely to win but when has that stopped anyone else?
Go for it.

That would be a little much, don't you think? Do you honestly think she did it on purpose, or was it an honest mistake? You need to look at it that way. I mean if you think she endangered your life on purpose, then you have a whole other problem on your hand, and you would need to contact the authorities. Otherwise, remember we are all human, and everyone makes mistakes.
