Every rabbit we've owned has liked playing with little toy cars. They're so cute when they push them then chase them.

We bought a round cardboard tube called a Chube that bunnies like running through and nibbling on.

You can also get them some toys for cats or birds, just watch that there's nothing they can chew off that would hurt them. It's too bad stores don't sell bunny toys!

Every bunny is different, and it'll take some trial and error. My rabbits like cardboard boxes, towels, those plastic baby keys, the willow baskets/chew toys that Bunny Bytes sells, paperbags, and the most popular toy is a phone book. Keeps them entertained for hours.

If your bunny is in his/her cage, make sure you have some toys to play with. My bunny loves her baby rattle in the shape of a cow! She always puts it in her mouth and jumps up and down. She also bangs it on the bottom of her cage and makes a racket! She also loves to re-arrange her cage by dragging her litter box all over her cage and taking her metal food dish off the side of the cage and clanging it across the wire bars on her cage. It's like she's in jail, dragging a tin cup across the bars and singing "Nobody knows...."

You may also consider a salt lick or a toy that's made of wood. I've seen both in pet stores. Also a great game of tag is fun! My bunny hops, skips and kicks her feet out to the side when I chase her around the house!

If your bunny is out of his/her cage, make sure you bunny-proof your house. When my bunny gets bored, she chews on our wooden furniture, finds little places to hide, scratches our hardwood floors and gets into a lot of mischief. Some bunnies like to play with paper bags, cardboard boxes or untreated wood or twigs.

Visit the House Rabbit Society site for some great advice!

Best wishes!

In a cage, provide perhaps a small cat toy, a canning ring (small enough that it won't fit over the rabbits head!) hanging bird toys, empty paper towel/toilet paper/oatmeal canister. Make sure any paper is torn off, especially the waxy kind!

Is it trained to be out of the cage? Mine just had a few cat toys, and balls (normal chew toys as well).. it ran around the house, investigated things, stole popcorn from my roomate.. and was very similar to a cat actually.. in a cage it's a bit more difficult.

make sure your rabbits habitat is large enough to play on. provide small cardboard boxes for chewing and hiding, give it the empty toilet paper tubes, they enjoy wadded up newspaper, and small wooden blocks to chew on. rearrange the habitat frequently -rabbits are very curious. play with your rabbit -they like to growl and nibble on your hands. be careful when picking up a rabbit, though.
