yes, but more often on my hair straighteners...which are kinda like mini irons. one time i burnt my finger so badly that the skin stuck to the plate :) and they're ghds so they're mega hot...i just forget they're switched on

Yes ( I can't actually believe that I'm going to admit this ) One morning while ironing my shirt for work ,and still pished from the night before having gotten home about 5.30am, my phone rang and I lifted the iron to my ear.......The scream woke half the building and some kind hearted idiot phoned the police as they thought someone was getting killed and I had to endure 2 hours of laughing cops taking the pish made even worse by the fact that I'm Irish. As if that wasn't bad enough they insisted on getting an ambulance and having me checked out in casualty which meant my boss was phoned and by the time I got to work the next day it was all around the factory so I got the slagging of the century..... (No joke )

The one and only time I burnt myself on the iron was when I was about 3 - my mum said to me 'don't touch the iron, it's hot' so me being me (ie. don't like being told what to do!) grabbed hold of it with both hands - YEOOOUUCCHHH! It was a good life lesson as I've never done it since!!

I never had an ironing board, so i'd iron on a towel on the floor. I constantly burnt my belly.... once you might understand, but several times just makes me look daft.
Lucky burns dont bother me much

Yes a few times and from being dumb and ironing on the floor or bed...being too lazy to get the ironing board out.

oooouuucccchhhh is right! Yes I have and I said a lot more than ouch! It hurt like the dickens. The pain from the burn stayed on for eeevvvverrrr.
