I find it to be very unusually coincidental that a man who is marrying a CDC biologist daughter, comes up with TB (which is VERY VERY rare) and of the kind that is not susceptible to normal treatments (which is even more rare) days before the wedding??? The father-n-law KNEW the guy was barred from flying if he had TB. But, he flew ANYWAYS! I think that the father n law is involved. Does anyone else have concerns about this?

I'm tending to give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume it was a bizarre coincidence.

But I can promise you you'll see this as a plot line on Law & Order very soon.

Hi renni

.....I just read the article a little bit ago..I agree with you ..it is interesting that this man father-in-law specializes in the very thing his new son-in-law has come down with...and a rare form to boot.....I believe there is still more to this story....

....what really got me ..this man knew he had TB, but not what form and went ahead with his plans anyway..not giving a damn about anyone but himself...... I don't believe for a moment he thought it was ok to travel with his condition...it will be a miracle if he hasn't given this to someone else....everyone that came into contact with this man needs to be checked...they should paste his picture in all the places he went warning anyone who came into contact with this man to get tested ..than he needs to pay for all test and any treatments if needed.....what a selfish azz.....

I admit I have only read a little about this story. The entire thing sounds fishy to me. Why in the world would he even travel after being asked not to? And I do wonder how he got the disease.

It was a REALLY weird twist in the already weird case. I don't think there was any foul play, but certainly should be investigated. Hopefully, law makers will take note of the situation and make some changes.

i'm very offended approximately it. As an lawyer, he knew what he grew to become into doing grew to become into incorrect. I do desire he's prosecuted for the endangerment of others and that i do think of there is lots extra to this tale that we don't comprehend.

Ughhhhhh! Do you think his father-in-law didn't like him and gave it to him? Hmmm. Can't wait to hear the rest of this story.
