I'm not sure of the age of the children you are referring to, but I'm going to assume that you are probably talking younger children. If this is the case, Magic Kingdom is ideal for the little ones. The parades, fireworks, characters, dining, rides, everything is perfect for younger kids. Not to mention that it was the first park in Disney World and is the perfect way to experience Disney for the first time.
My second choice would be Animal Kingdom. Kids love this park because of the animals, it is also a little smaller so more easy to handle. In my opinion, however, there are more rides for younger kids at Magic Kingdom, but that is just how I feel.
MGM Studios and EPCOT are great parks as well. But, I think they are a little more fun for older kids or adults. Each park has something to do for children, but I think they would have the most fun at either Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom.
Ticket prices will depend on the age of the guest, the length of the pass and if you want hopping or water parks added on. It looks like you are only wanting to go to one park, so the price for a one day base ticket (allowing you to get into only one park, one day. You cannot go to other parks with the ticket, get into waterparks with it, etc. You can come and go to the same park with that pass, but not go between them) For adults, 10 and up the price is $71.36, including tax. For children 9 and under it is $59.64. Children 2 and under are free.
If you plan to go to Disney more than once you should look into longer passes. The longer your pass the more you save and you will save quite a bit over buying each pass seperately. I will include a link with ticket prices as well as some links to info on the parks.
Hope this helps! Feel free to e-mail me if you need any other help!

For young children, I think Magic Kingdom is far and away the best park. Disney is about $70 a day for the basic ticket by the time you add taxes. However, you can save a little money by buying multi-day passes. An excellent resource to research all the rides, dining, shopping, hotels, and tickets is http://www.allearsnet.com If you have never been to Disney, you should know that it is a huge complex, and you need to do a little research before you go. I would advise getting a guidebook. But after you do a little homework, it is a wonderful place to vacation!

There are two parks I would have to say. The first one definately would be the Magic Kingdom. In Fantasyland you have Dumbo ride, the tea cups, Its a small world, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White Scarry Adventures, Pooh's Playful spot (play area for the smaller ones), the carosel ride and of course Cinderella's Castle. In Mickey's Toontown Fair you have both Mickey and Minnie's houses that you can walk through, Donald's Boat, Goofy's Wiseacre's Farm (a child size rollercoaster is here), Mickey's Judge's tent where you can meet your favorite characters. Then there is Adventureland that has Aladin's Carpet Ride which is like the Dumbo ride and the Jungle Cruise. Just so many things for the younger crowd.
The second park I would have to say is Epcot. They have the Seas with Nemo and Friends, Journey into Imagination with Figment, there is also a boat ride in the Land Pavillion that shows about Agriculture, it looks like it could be boring but it is actually quite interesting, plus of course you have Spaceship Earth that is always my kid's favorite. Also they have many different spots throughout the countries and in certain areas throughout Future World called KidCot where the kids can make a mask and then have everyone from the different countries sign and stamp it from that country. The country's also have live entertainment that really amuses the younger ones.

It definitely depends on the ages. I remember my daughter was afraid of the characters at the Magic Kingdom when she was 2. She probably didn't realize the size difference would be so big compared to what she saw on TV. And I really wouldn't take small kids to Epcot. There's really only a couple of rides they could go on and the rest would be exploring the countries which they would find quite boring. I was there last week and went on the Nemo ride and was really bored. It was just a slow moving clam shell ride that showed different frames of Nemo and the cast. The other ride was a boat ride in Mexico which reminded me of It's A Small World gone bad. It was just The Three Caballeros playing throughout the ride. Yawn. Take the kids over to Animal Kingdom so they can ride the kiddie rides and see the animals on the safari ride and train. And there are rides for the older kids too. I can't help you on the prices, because I live in Florida and get a different rate than you. Have fun on your vacation!

All of them have something really special about them, but I would recommend going to Magic Kingdom. They have so many rides there, and tons for younger kids. Animal kingdom also has cute rides for kids, but not as many to choose from. Epcot has less for kids, but they have kid areas that allow them to make different crafts at different 'countries' of the world. I wouldn't recommend MGM, for anyone really. It has some good points to it, it's never really crowded, but for the young ones it isn't much fun. They have cute shows, Little Mermaid, Playhouse Disney, etc.. But other than that there arent too many rides. So back to what I was saying, Magic Kingdom has so many rides for the yonge ones, and parents will enjoy them too. For example, Buzz Lightyear, that's a fun ride that will have everyone trying to compette to get the highest score. They have a new comedy show called Monsters Inc. and thats really funny because the audience can interact. There are so many more to choose from. I don't know the price of the park though, sorry.

For kids, Magic Kingdom is the best. They have the best kids and family rides, especially if you have younger kids, even if they are older, there is a wide range of rides for all ages, even adults. An Adult 1 day ticket, i believe is around $68.00 kids ages 3-9 is obviously lower. Be prepared to spend a lot at disney, including $10 for parking and at least $7-9 on meals per person

For the little ones, I'd definitely say Magic Kingdom. The Kingdom geared to the imagination and playing "pretend". It's also the park with the most oportuinity to spot characters. They're never in short supply. As for ticket prices, that's hard to say. They tend to change throughout the year. This site might help you though:
