I think the previous owners of my car smoked and let their wet dog sleep in the car. Every time I turn on my A/C it smells like a musty butthole. Is there anyway to get that smell out?

Musty butthole?? OK. Have a shop use a chemical cleaner on the a/c evaporator coil. There is also some bacteria killers that they will spray in the ductwork. Change the cabin air filter, if it has one. No more musty butthole.

I'll take your word about the musty butthole, but there is a filter on the passengers side under the dash in the control box, if this filter gets damp it smells like old gym socks, change the filter.

You have a bacteria growing in the ac vents. You can try Lysol spray in the vents, that will work for a while. when you use the ac,water can collect in the ventilation system and it allows nasty stuff to grow in there. You could disassemble the whole heater , vent ducting under the dash and wash it out with bleach and water. But most people change the filter in the ventilation system and keep spraying Lysol in the vents to kill the mold and bacteria, and it quits smelling so bad.

Take it to the dealer.They will flush the ac systems and correct the smell for you.
