DON'T OPEN THE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!
How old is it?
If it's over 20 years the wood maybe weak to use.
Your better off selling it on E-BAY.
I'd ask for a minimum price of $125.00
or place an add in the paper, or even posting a fl yer in your local hobby / craft stores.
If you want to try and build it be very carefull and follow the instruction to the letter or the plane will not fly correctly.
GOOD LUCK

Guillow's Spirit of Saint-Louis... the kit sells for $41.29 retail from the manufacturer ( http://guillow.com/GuillowDetail.asp?UID=3456623&prod=807&SeriesId=24&FamilyId=1)

"The Spirit of Saint-Louis is another super-detailed free-flight scale model that can easily be converted to electric RC. The balsa (dye-cut) seems good compared with Guillow's standards. 34" 1/2 wingspan. Sells for 40$ plus shipping or 40$" was a quote off Ebay, Amazon, and RC-Universe.

It's a nice kit to build... I built it back in 1982. Those who quote $100-150 value are HIGH !!

Good LUCK !!
