Why does Lou Dobbs perseverate about border security/immigration?

Everyday he talks about immigration for nearly the entire show. He may as well call the show "broken borders" instead of "lou dobbs tonight". His dream job would be to be a INS agent or director.

I really believe that he thinks it's a very important issue, I happen to also. We got to stop the illegal immigration somehow.

Because he's one of the few news commentators who isn't a corporate or liberal stooge.
