I would say: Ann Wilson (Heart), Pat Benatar, Debbie Harry (Blondie), Joan Jett (Runaways/Joan Jett & The Blackhearts), Grace Slick (Jefferson Starship/Starship), Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac), Kate Pierson, Kate Wilson (b-52's).

Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Chrissie Hynde, Kate Pierson(B-52's), Madonna,Sinead O'Connor. Theses are the best, in my opinion for the 70's-80's set. Grace Slick was out of her element and the queen in the 60's though I saw her perform well into the 80's.
