I'm getting a brand new 2007 car shortly and I would like to know what others think is the best one for under $20,000
Things the car must have:
avaiable in manual
good on gas milegage

Aside from personal preference there are alot of good cars out there for under 20k, (trust me, I'm looking myself!)
The 3 VW's that have been advertised under 20k are a good place to start...
If you are loking for something American than I would recommend either the Saturn Ion or the Ford focus ZX3. Good Hpwr, gas mileage, and pretty roomy
Best thing to do is go to Autotrader.com or the Yahoo! Auto search. You can put in your criteria such as price, type of car (sedan, coupe, hatchback), plus you can also see reviews others have left on those cars.
Always remember, that no matter what you find online, do yourself a favor and just go to a dealership if you can and test drive one... Good Luck!

You should take a look at the gm line.Lots of cars with over 30 mpg and the gm 100.000 mile warrenty.

I had a 2005 Toyota Corolla, and just bought a 2006 Corolla, and I am very happy.
