Way ahead in what polls? These polls have been flipping all over the place.
A better question is this: Why the hell is anybody paying the slightest bit of attention to any polls at this point . . . a year and a half before the election???

The Republicans who are ahead in the polls have better ideas that the dems. That's why they are ahead. People are listening to their ideas about socialism in the medical industry, how they want to tax us into a recession, and how the don't think Americans are worth protecting and most are disturbed by these notions. Who want someone who believes in those things as president? Not most of the country.

Really? And which polls would those be? Please state your sources - I haven't heard that at all. I have only heard the polls within the parties. Nothing about cross-party polling.
