Alot of people go there, so you'll get lots of tips. Its fancy alittle that helps. And its a great resturant. If I was a server or waitress that would be my first resturant to go for.

Every job seems like a sweatshop (especially your first job) , You are always going to feel under paid and unappreciated . I would take the Red Lobster job , I liked working there more than burger king, just remember to stay in school, otherwise you will feel under paid and unappreciated for the rest of your life!!!

Well it definitely doesn't hurt to work there. A friend of mine did in college. You have to do 2 weeks of shadowing/training before you'll ever get your first table. You literally have to memorize the menu and be able to recommend things. And they test you on it. Then they only start you out with one or two tables, and then you move up based on performance.
My friend ended up quitting after a month because she said it just wasn't paying the bills by working for $3 an hour plus a couple tables' worth of tips. She didn't have a problem with the management though.

maybe you should start with a yogurt, ice cream, or something else not as hard working for your first job. my mom worked at Ralph's and her feet hurt sooo bad and when she was pregnant she had to unload a truck to bring it into the store 9 and no men would help her, and they were sooooo heavy) it probably is not a good job for a first timer and the pay might not be too good either
in a restraunt you need to rush, remember orders, do orders correctly, it is probably very stressful. and if your still in high school, it may be hard to get good hours and find time to do homework. you should get a shift at a yogurt store every other day maybe after school or on Saturday and Sunday. don't make your life Way too hard for you and ssoo stressful.

All resturants are hard work. You get 2.?? an hour plus tips. It also depends on the location and the people you work with. I say go for it. They may make you be a hostess before server.

As long as you aren't racist and don't mind complainers. I think you can figure out what I'm saying there. From people I've known $60-100 is the norm, you have to run all your food and there are a lot of 10% tippers which goes with the first sentance I wrote.

dont stress so much over it, maybe carry the menu around with you or ask someone to point out what they were talking about, it'll be fine, also maybe it'll be good to tell the customers that your new so that they know....? hope i helped!

No. Red Lobster is a horrible place to work. PERIOD. Try Outback or fine dining. Please save yourself the headache.
