which are tools used by hackers to attack a system from a remote location and 16 spyware and it still has to check 2/3rd of the computer. It wants $13 to renew. I did this at someone's suggestion due to very slow computer. I am on a small income and though I could if really necessary pay..if I can remove these free somehow and restore my computer speed, it would help.
It started acting slow in the last week but I am reluctant to do a system restore as I o not want to lose all my recent files I did and can't find which are recent and which are old to copy to email or something.
I think maybe it is related to downloading torrents from torrentz. One download took 48 hours and I deleted and did some more of the same show from different places and none had sound. I have removed them all.
I have done several checks on my adaware, avg free, avg antispyware and also have spywareblaster.
What might I do..especially in regards to these hacking tools which have me worried..anywhere to remove

I only have $100 a month after bills for food, clothes, gas, misc so I am on a REALLY below poverty income, Kevin
I did not know downloading from this site was illegal until a few days ago when my son yelled at me and told me so hopefully you will withdraw your shame..I am an older woman and not that adept with computers yet.

DONT PAY A DIME! There are free tools that people have mention that can help remove all the junk you have catched with all the unsafe browsing done in the past.
1) Get a free firewall (zonealarm, pctools firewall, comodo firewall.
2) Get a free spyware and adware cleaner (spybot search & destroy, adaware, avg spyware)
3) Get a free malware cleaner (Comodo BoCleand)
4) Get a free rootkit cleaner (AVG Rootkit)
5) Remove all the P2P and Bittorrent programs from your computer. It SLOWSSSS you down at boot time and while browsing the Internet. Make sure you say NO..NO...NO to the P2P and Bittorrent applications when they try to connect to the Internet when the Firewall ask, and reply remember my answer so you don't have to do it all the time and it is save on the firewall rules.
6) Defrag your HD.
Just one last thing that is more a suggestion. If you want to continue to use P2P or Bittorrents you can download the free VMWare Player and one of their virtual applicances (mostly preconfigured linux distributions) from www.vmware.com so you can run a virtual linux operating system to use for this type of Internet browsing. If something happens to your virtual appliance you just delete it and download them again from vmware.com Microsoft has also virtual pc and some appliances, but their sizes are bigger to download.
Cheers!

In regards to the hacking tools, it sounds like someone has definitely gotten into your computer. You might have one of those computers that are sold underground and used on a computer "farm". Anyways, run ad-aware, AVG Free both again 1 time, and then get Spybot Search and Destroy. Next, if you have been moving large files using torrents *shame* *illegal* try defragging your hard drive. That will improve your speed.Torrents definitely aren't good for your computer. Well, hope this helps, but if all fails just pay the $13. You must have a really small income to not want to pay this.

I live in a world that is laughable and expect to find humour in most things. Yer avin a laf ain't yer? Here is an example of some hotel reviews: 1st "Had to laugh or we would of cried We arrived at the hotel to be told that our room was not ready, not a great start when you have a two month old baby. we were then told to wait in the bar which wouldnt of been so bad if it wasnt full of a bout 15 german hells angels!!!!!!!!!! not quite what we were expecting on a saturday afternoon!!!!!!!!! we ruturned to the hotel after a day of visiting family only to find that there was nowhere at all to park. The breakfast consisted of burnt egg, cold toast, and 1 scrappy piece of bacon. next time we are staying at a travel lodge and we would urge you to do the same,or alternatively the park across the road! 2nd "Sleep in the bus shelter it's cleaner 3rd "The bathroom's are smelly and dirty, they look like they came out of the 1970's. The beds are old and uncomfortable. The breakfast was okay, didn't like the tomatoes and mushrooms out of a can though. There isn't a lift and there is a very strong air freshener smell in the hallways, don't know what they are hiding. Oh and by the way, across the road you get a good view of the local prostitutes. 4th "Stayed for two nights, and slept neither night from scratching from the flea infested bed! The rooms are apparently en-suite,this is a joke. Our bathroom was dirty and had brown stains in the bath. A pipe connected from the toilet ran into the bath. (We looked in our friends room to discover this is the same in every room.) The hall ways smell of urine, and on the top floor there was a bucket to catch the drips from the ceiling. To add to all this we were greeted with the local police raiding one of the downstairs bedrooms.

Download a copy of Avast Home edition for free
www.avast.com
Choose to scan when restart, this should filter out most of not all the nasty ones.
Then When Windows started , do another scan using Avast under Windows.
Follow by a spyware scan with Spybot
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
If you want to be safe, leave Panda on while you do the above, but Avast will pickup one or two Panda files as a trojan, so may be its better to remove Panda before you install Avast.

If I had this much stuff on my computer (assuming they are not mostly harmless tracking cookies), I would backup my data and reformat and reinstall windows.
Backup your data. Find all your drivers and software and software keys now and develop a plan on how you will reinstall them.

Reformat and install. (Cleans drive loses all data)

========================
If you do not want to reformat:
Because of the number of infections I am unsure if you can remove everything. If you follow all the following steps it should get rid most or all of your problem and prevent future problems. All programs listed are free.
---------------------------------------------------------
Update your antivirus and run a full scan in safe mode
If you do not have full time (active) virus protection install (only one) all are excellent:
AVG Antivirus 7.5 Free Edition
http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/avg-anti-virus-free/lng/us/tpl/v5
http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10669237.html?tag=lst-0-1
or
Free antivirus - avast! 4 Home Edition
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
or
AOL Active Virus Shield
http://www.activevirusshield.com/antivirus/freeav/index.adp
---------------------------------------------------------
Install Windows Defender (full time spyware protection)
Perform a full scan.
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
---------------------------------------------------------
Install the following five programs and run weekly or at least monthly. You need all five. They will greatly increase your protection. They are not a substitute for full time spyware and virus protection.
Ad-Aware SE Personal (update + full scan)
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
Spybot Search & Destroy (update + immunize + scan)
Do not enable Tea Timer and SDHelper
After installation: update + scan + immunize
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html
SpywareBlaster: Update then open and click “enable all protection”.
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
SUPERAntiSpyware free version: (update + scan)
http://www.superantispyware.com/
CCleaner: Do not install toolbar option
Removes tracking cookies, unneeded files, history
In options.
Set to run when computer starts.
Place cookies you want to keep in save list
http://www.ccleaner.com/
-------------------------------------------------------------
Note if a scan detects a problem but is unable to remove, start the computer in safe mode with the internet line disconnected and run a full scan.
In severe cases (like yours) your system restore files will also be infected. In these cases you will need to turn off system restore to prevent malware hiding in the system restore files and reinfecting the computer during removal or during a future system restore. Turning off system restore deletes the system restore files.
Right click on "my computer"> Properties > System Restore Tab > Check box turn off system restore
After the malware is removed turn on system restore.
