is the guy that killed alot of people from the texas chainsaw massacre still alive?? not the actor the real person!! i heard that you can go to the farm house where he live and that you can take a tour is that true ?? =)

There is no real "Texas Chainsaw" murderer. The movie was _loosely based_ on Ed Gein, who was from Wisconsin. He died in a psychiatic hospital.
"This film, like the films Psycho (1960), Deranged, and The Silence of the Lambs (1991), was loosely inspired by Wisconsin serial killer Ed Gein. Gein did wear human skin, but he acted alone and did not use a chainsaw. The interior of the house, particularly the macabre living room filled with bones, was also based on the crime scene notes describing the inside of Gein's home. The film's opening claims the events are factual, a use of the false document technique. (Filming was from 1973-07-15 and shown from 1973-08-14, while the opening narrative claims that the events took place on 1973-08-18.) Libraries in Burkburnett, Texas and nearby Wichita Falls regularly receive requests for copies of newspaper articles related to the events."

It was based on Ed Gein... not a real chainsaw-welding-psycho...

Yes, actually he is still alive...he still lives in that very same farmhouse and he gives tours, except actually I just called up there and he didn't answer and that is kinda strange cause OH MY GOD HE's RIGHT BEHIND YOU WITH A BIG OL' KNIFE!!!
