and how much would it weigh roughly? (the fish tank itself weighs about 15-20 lbs.) the reason im asking is so i can get a fish tank stand made. thanks for any and all answers. =]

It will hold 40.42 gallons without displacement
weight would be 153 kg/337.33lbs without displacement

should easily support 31in of fish, high maintenance 62inch with good filter

surface area 4.95 sq ft

It's a 40 gallon regular. A gallon of water weights about 8 3/4 lbs. So 40 gallons with an additional 20 lbs would equal about 370 lbs.

Oh! And don't forget to account for how much gravel/sand etc you'll be using and rock if you're setting that in.
