i have wireless internet in one room but want to get it in another room at theback of the house where can i get a wireless adapter that fits into a usb port andhow much do they cost and do they actually work

in the uk they are about £20 from most pc shops

USB wireless adapter, usually costs around $20-$50 in US (check more here: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=2699).. Hook the device in and install the driver (Windows might install it automatically if supported), then configure it as normal wireless adapter.

comet sell them for around the £30 mark, though delux ones are more.
Talk talk also sells one for £30
ebay will probably sell one for £20 new and £10 second hand/used..
Take your pick.
