Nothing that you drink like juice, soda or water should effect the test. I dont entirely understand why you cann't use your first morning urine but anyways. First morning urine just has a higher concentration of the hormone the pregnancy test is looking for so anytime will work if you are far enough along. Good Luck. If you have more ?'s call your dr's office tomarrow am and talk to the nurse.

The only time drinking anything would affect your test is if you drank a lot of liquid shortly before taking your test. It dilutes your urine. There are some kidney ailments that do this (urine failes to concentrate), but you would likely already know you have that problem. Other that that. Nada. There are some women who do not test positive for some time because, for whatever reason, they do not generate enough of the hormone.
Just take your test whenever. If you think you might be and the test is still negative, ask your doc to run a blood test to confirm.

Ok.. no those things should not affect the result of a pregnancy test. Taking the test from your first morning urine is best and you shouldnt worry about peeing alot. If you get a test that you pee on the stick just pee enough to saturate the stick and then stop your pee move the stick and finish peeing. Same goes for a test with a cup pee in the cup take the dropper and drop the number of drops the directions specifies and the wait for the results. No biggie!! Your amount of pee shouldnt be a problem!! Good Luck!!

the only way that this could happen if you drink too many liquids before you test. when you take a hpt you want to wait at least four hours after drinking heavy liquids exspecially if testing early. other than that none of these drinks will have an effect on your results

Unless you have juice, water, or soda that laced with hormones, they won't affect your test. I don't know why you can't use your 1st urine of the day....but if you can't. Then you might have to wait a couple extra days for the hormone to build up before you get a positive result.

it depends on the amount you drink...if you are drinking these things due to having a "bladder infection" this will effect your test yes.
However what you can do is skip from like 7 pm until the next mornng, test and then begin your regimen again, if you do have a bladder infection though {burning when urinating, feeling of having to go potty but can't once you get there} this will effect your entire system. I have a routine bladder infection if I take a bath or have intercourse in our pool or hot tub...so get to a doctor if you believe you have an infection.

The hormones that pregnancy tests look for cannot be put into your blood by drinking water or cranberry juice, i promise.

No! The pregnancy hormone is the ONLY thing that a HPT looks for and detects.

No, the test looks for the HCG hormone, and what you drink doesn't affect that.
