You can have a church wedding to say your vows before God, family and friends. For this you do not need a license. Your minister will know all about this and it is not uncommon.

If you are already married then you do not need another license even if you are getting married in a church the second time. Explain it is a renewing of the vows since you are already married and everything should be fine. Contact your local county clerk to make sure if you are still wondering. Many people have done this without having to apply for another license even if it is in another county. Good Luck!

you are legally married
the wedding is nothing more but a ceremony and you do not need a license since your marriage has allready been reocrded in what ever county you got married at

You don't need to have the marriage license again, you already married. Just have the ceremony, you'll be good to go.

You willprobably have to explain why when you apply and then they may not issue a second license, but all you can do is try and see what happens

It may depend on which state you are from. I would call my local county clerk to find out.
