Throb after we have sexual intercourse. He complains that the tip of the penis throbs but only after he cums and takes his penis out. What could this be? We have been married for 7 years. Any suggestions?

He has no other problems any other time. No burning when he pees and this has been going on for about a week!

It's normal the throbbing is caused by the blood flow slowing down as it shrinks.

When erect the penis gets filled with blood. When a man ejaculates during intercourse, his penis is at the highest pressure where the blood inside it expands a bit. The shaft is very expandable, but the head has limited space for expanding. That is most likely the cause of the throbbing. Simply a natural reaction caused by increase blood flow into an area that doesn't naturally expands. Added to the pounding pressure inside you. Will cause throbbing.

If you look at the penis, it's full of vains. When a main climaxes and ejaculates, he loses his erection. During an erection, his veins are tight, the blood flows quickly, and everything's hard. but once it's gone, everything tries to slow down, making his penis throb. It's perfectly normal.

I think that's normal - mine throbs too, but it isn't something I would complain about. Try lubrication when you next have intercourse and see if that helps.

thats what happens to amlost all men. it is because after they reach orgasm the feeling is still their but it weakens. PLus i think it is your bodys way of getting rid of the rest of the semen. Beleive me he should be enjoying it!

that's normal.if it hurts have him drink a lot of cranberry juice, he might have an infection, maybe kidney infection. if it persists for a nother week, go see a DOC
