I know there is a lot of gay male magazines and also straight.
Playboy made Hugh Hefner a Billionaire.... There are also a lot of Gay Type magazines to educate gay people. Playboys that are educational with articles/hotpictures etc... I am not aware of any magazines targeted for the Lesbian group such as they are for the gay guys and straights.
I would like to come up with the first one and break the norm...
Would any lesbians be intrested in this kind of stuff? Or would it be a waste of time to launch a magazine to target the Lesbians? Any creative Ideas for Names or ideas?

The problem with the porn marketplace is that 95% (or even higher) of all lesbian porn is being marketed at Straight Men who think that girl-girl action is hot!

There is always a market - but you might have to cater somewhat to any group that does start reading your new magazine (like Playgirl did once they found out that gay men rather than straight women were their primary readers)

There are magazines marketed to lesbians; the two that are the most popular are Curve and On Our Backs.

yeah.. i'd like a typical magazine that i'd be able to relate to.

something like cosmopolitan for lesbians
maybe call it "Woman Identified" lol... i dunno.. i think it's cool
one that talks about current lesbian books that are out and also current pride events maybe
typical fashion and hair and make up.
maybe a section for the butch side..
also of course the typical new sex ideas..
plenty of coming out stories..
ummm
hmm.. let me think some more.
oh yeah.. and of course the hot woman of the month pages lol.

plenty of things to talk about.

do you know how nice it was to of finally of seen the first 2 seasons of The L word?
it was just a typical drama series like all others... but it was just something that i could relate to .. and i felt more at home with.
so a nice clean-cut magazine would be pretty cool.

i believe ive seen a magazine such as that, or maybe i'm mistaken. but i think it'd be a hit! i really do...i mean, women's magazines are great to read, but sometimes i get tired of reading about straight couples. i'd like something to be able to relate to!

Not very sure but there are mags for lesbians too.
Do check out the website for more details in your community. should there be none, then starting one is a good idea to reach out to other lesbians in your community.

Good luck.

There are already a few national lesbian-oriented magazines.

... But we could always use another one. :)
