There are several products you can buy to keep animals from eating on your plants. The key is you must rotate these products as your animals do not get used to the same taste and decide to eat it after all. Your local garden center will show you the varieties, such as deer off, etc, that you can use and remember every time you use a bottle rotate to a new brand the next time.

Buy some chicken wire and place it over your flowers to protect them as they grow. Also they have a spray for deer and rabbit. You can buy it at Menards. You spray it on your flowers and whatever else you don't want eaten, and they won't touch them. It works and I use the spray all the time. It is harmless to other animals you may have or to children once it dries. It also lasts after it rains. You can apply more spray as needed. Follow the directions.

Human hair will keep animals away from your garden. Go to a barber shop or salon and ask for the hair they've cut and swept up that day. Put it in a bag and shake well. Surround the perimeter of your garden with it and the animals will be scared to cross because of the smell. It's worked for me for years!

all these answers are good, but it's not really practical, or pleasant, to scatter human hair around your garden.

rabbits are repelled by the scent of marigolds,so you could plants some around your garden. hot pepper sauce works (like Tabasco), but it washes away after the first rain.

you can buy "Rabbit and Dog Repellent" at any garden center. you sprinkle it on, and it lasts a long time, even after a rain.

good luck!

Go to the dollar store and get some mothballs. Scatter them around your flowerbed. It'll keep all kinds of creatures away from your flowers.

Just be careful if you have small children that they don't pick them up or put them in their mouths.

I used to have rabbits that ate away at our garden too. So what we did was fence the flowers, and everythings fine after that.

hot pepper spray or cayenne pepper sprinkled on the plants will keep rabbits from eating them -- you have to do this often -- the best thing is fencing, but then you can't see the flowers so well. good luck

Give them something they like better! Baby Carrots? Perhaps. OK I know there are people out there screaming that these are WILD animals. I apologize right now. Our seem to like to nibble the clover too.
