You need to arrange each of the data points in numerical order. Then check to see if there are any places where one number occurs more often than any other. If you find such a number, then you have found the mode.
It is possible for there to be more than one mode. If in a set of numbers thenumber 6 shows up 9 times and the number 8 also shows up 9 times, then you have two modes: one at 6 and one at 8.
