This question is about as easy as saying who's the best QB of all time. Brady and Manning have different accomplishments that are very hard to compare. For example: Brady has 3 rings; most people voting Montana as best ever would argue that superbowl victories equal greatness. Peyton has mind boggling stats and intelligence; Marino fans would compare Peyton to him except Manning now has a title. So how can we really decide who is better? A few quick facts will tell us:

Because of Belichick's "TEAM" philosophy and excellent defensive schemes, the Patriots are always contenders and they dont need superstars, just guys who fit into their style of play. People say Brady has no weapons to throw to on offense. He does have weapons, weapons that fit into Belichicks scheme. In the past he had guys like Danial Grahem, Troy Brown, Deion Branch, Corey Dillion and an outstanding defensive philosophy. Brady has rings because of a TEAM effort, not just the play of the Quarterback. Is it any wonder that Brady didnt make it to the superbowl because those weapons are gone or won't playing at a high level?

As for Manning, it's been clear what he can do for the past several years; racking up stats left and right. The thing to remember is a Quarterback can only be as good as his surrounding team, and look at who he has/had to throw to on offense. Possible Hall of Famers receiver Marvin Harrison and left tackle Tarik Glenn; Edgerrin James, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stokely Marcus Pollard, Dallas Clark etc.. Indianapolis has always been loaded on offense, and with Tom Moore's free style offense, its able to take advantage of Manning's best asset-his intelligence. But lets not also forget before the 2003 season, Manning wasnt that great of a QB. He was good no doubt, but He didnt always have the superb stats, QB rating or TD to INT ratio (check the career stats of him for proof) to be considered one of the best in the game at the time.

Last but not least the answer youve been waiting for....It's Manning who has a slight edge over Brady as far as whos better. This is only because Manning has had to shoulder all of the responsibility and has been asked to do much more while Brady always had a good defense to rely on. Both of these QB's are great, possible hall of famers, but its still too early to rank them with the likes of Favre, Marino, Montana and Elway, until theyre retired or very near their careers.

I Will Have To Say Tom Brady...Peyton Manning Is A Good QuarterBack But I Think Tom Brady Is Better On Various Reasons...
#1-The Colts Know How Good Peyton Manning Can Be, So They Have A Great Offensive Line To Protect Manning From Getting Hurt...
The Patriots Right Latley Have Been Working To Improve There Defense And Filling In Holes For Their Needed Areas On Offense Like WR And RB...
#2-The Colts Have A Better Set Of Wide Recievers For Peyton Manning To Pass To...Wide Recievers Who Can Be Deep Threats...Look At How Much He Used Marvin Harrison And Now He's Getting Use To Reggie Wayne Because Marvin Harrison Is Getting To The Point Of Retirment...
The Patriots Have Been Going Through Some Holes With The Wide Reciever Position...Losing Deion Branch...But Now Tom Brady Has Got Randy Moss, And Randy Moss WANTS To Be In New England So He's Going To Be Playing With His "A Game"...
#3-Peyton Manning Is A Quarterback Who Never Likes To Leave The Pocket...When He Is Being Pressured, He Will Either Throw The Ball Away Or Jus Tuck It In And Take The Sack...
Tom Brady Is Jus The Same, But When He Needs To Be A Mobile Quarterback, He Will Get Out Of The Pocket And Move...

So Do You Really Think Peyton Manning Is The Better QUARTERBACK???
Or You're With Me And Agree That Peyton Manning Just Has A Better Supporting Cast Then Tom Brady...

Statistically some would have to say it is Peyton Manning but in that logic Dan Marino would also have to be regarded as the best as well and that definetly is not the case. Peyton Manning religously chokes under pressure in the playoffs(this super bowl run also considered). He did not win the playoffs his defense did way more work than he. Plus Manning has a plethera of talent amongst him, from his WR core (Harrison and Wayne) along with his experience o-line.

Tom Brady has no real surrounding talent around him aside from Corey Dillon at his prime, and he was hardly a more dominant force than Brady. Tom Brady took his teams to the Super Bowl and won those super bowls. Tom Brady had to establish his career when he really had no collegiate one and he has done a great job doing so, and in that process has won 3 super bowls, not due to his defense but due to his own superb skill.

All in all Tom Brady as of right now is better than Peyton Manning because of the rings, the amount of times he gets into the playoffs and how far he advances in them. He is a stone cold QB who does not hold to many records but has the rings to show for his hardwork.

I will go with the easy answer, due to # of rings. Even though an argument for either one would make them them the better quarterback (especially since Peyton has now won a Superbowl). I'm going with Tom Brady. Three Superbowl rings, 19 straight wins, the ability to play his best in the toughest of games against the toughtest oppenents, a career passer rating of a little over 88. All without superstars like Edgerrin James (when he was there and healthy), Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and a productive tight end like Dallas Clark. Im not saying Brady doesnt have weapons, but none like Marvin or Edge and possibly not even Wayne. He lost his favorite target last year, and still made it to the AFC Championship.

The stats look completly in favor of Peyton, but if stats were the biggest factor. Than Dan Marino and Brett Favre would be the two greatest quartebacks of all time.

Wait until after this season now that the Pats stacked their roster by adding Randy Moss. Then the good debates can begin.

Let's not forget also, Brady was a sixth round draft pick that stepped in for a former 1st over-all pick to win a Superbowl. He is that story that makes you love football for the true players that do not complain about contracts, they just want to win. It was amazing that he re-negotiated his contract for Randy Moss.

Brady without a doubt. The man has ice in his blood under pressure, and he doesn't make mistakes that often. They are both the best at reading defenses, but Brady is a little better. Manning sometimes tries to force things, and this will get you into trouble as a QB, you almost never see Brady doing that. Plus people often forget, Manning has the best 1,2 receiver combo in the league with Harrison and Wayne. Has Brady ever had a 1,2 combo like that? He had one decent receiver and that was Branch, and the man still managed to win three super bowls. Brady makes nobodies into stars, period. Brady is also a little more mobile that Manning as well, so he's able to scramble for that first down once in a while. Another good point is Manning always had a good running back behind him, James for a good amount of time, and Joseph Addai last season, and he has one super bowl to show for it. Brady won one of his 3 super bowls with Antwauin Smith, WHO THE HELL IS THAT!!!!!! A NOBODY!!!!!!! I'm not a NE or Indy fan, but Tom Brady is the man, that's that.

Manning, easily. There is nothing that this guy can't do on a football field. And now he has the ring to go along with his amazing talent. Brady is a great QB, but Manning might possibly go down as the greatest QB to ever play the game and there won't be a record that he doesn't break.

I don't think you can say either is better. Any team would be lucky to have either of them and they would probably succeed on most teams. I just want to point out that Brady having more rings than Manning isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Trent Dilfer has a super bowl ring. Dan Marino does not. Is Trent Dilfer a better qb than Dan Marino?

Manning.

Only because of one thing: Manning may suck in the state of Florida, and against anyone from Florida, but his whole team has been a big part of that. However, Brady wins b/c even though he is average at best (he is a Meatchicken qb) Mike Vrabel (OSU buckeye) and the defense.

Peyton Manning is the better quarterback and will always be better. He has better stats and is far more skilled than Tom Brady. Superbowls have nothing to do with it. If we use that logic then Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino.

Once Manning gets the rings we can talk about him in the same breath as John Elway and Joe Montana. But until then he is just a really good TV. Manning is going where Brady has been. Manning has had a superb offense and only has one ring. Brady has his arm and he has 4. I wonder who is better. He made Jabar Gaffeny look good and that made the Texans (the shame of Houston) look even worse cause with a good QB he did good.
