Trance is far superior music to hip hop and what they play in clubs here. In Europe trance/house are standard club fare. On top of that, the artists look better and are much more respectable guys. They're a lot more talented on average I think. At least the top few. Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, ATB, Oakenfold and others. Trance is more fun to dance to. It attracts a classier crowd. Man it's just a hell of a lot better. What's the deal? Rap and hip hop blow. Bumping and grinding are for tribesmen, not sophisticated members of society. It disgusts me. When I see girls especially doing it I lose much respect for them, no class.

Indian song's interesting, I like slightly faster though. Anything slow and I start getting concerned about bump and grind >:( fast is so energizing. I guess slow more relaxing and laid back though

I can only give an example of the lack of recognition here in the states. I am an avid music fan, and I have never even heard the word. Someone needs to spend a few pounds on marketing/exposing this genre to the American public.

p.s. why not run with that idea and present a proposal to a large trance recording studio/distributer. Music sales in the US is a huge industry, you may be able to position yourself into an amazingly crazy profitable venture

The reason trance isn't popular here is because we have something called a "great sense of music". We know what music sounds good and that leads us to not liking trance music. What the hell does the way the artist looks have anything to do with their musical talent. This is a great example of "close-mindedness". Trance is by far the biggest waste of music equipment. Forgive me if I can't see how people in giant pants and spiked hair who are fasinated by glowing objects and swallowing Ecstacy are classy. Not all Rap is about "bumping and grinding tribesmen" as you put it but because you're close minded, that's how you see it. Rap and Hip-Hop are VERY different but with your point of views, I don't see it as a suprise that you don't know this. Have a nice day.

Rap will always remain superior!!!

I love Tiesto! Tons of people like it. It's more underground now but it's out there. It WAS very popular in the 1990's but then people also saw a correlation of rave's and acid. So I'm pretty sure they just had their fill of it. I'm tired of rap my self. It won't be this way forever. I heard metal is on the rise in Europe now actually anyways. YEAH! Cradle of Filth!!!

Thank you for posting your message. I was beginning to lose faith in my belief that there are really good people on Y/A.

I think it depends on where you live. In major cities it's played more than you think.. I live in San Francisco and it's still popular. And it has nothing to do with lifestyle or gender, incase you were thinking of that.

your comments are a euphmism away from outright racism. Hip Hop arose from Black American pain and poverty.

Trance is for pill-popping middle-upper class europeans who come from a different social-economic class.

i personally think trance is S***HOUSE
