Electricians have a potentially dangerous job. They must learn to read and understand details, follow directions carefully and organize their work. They must know how to read charts and use many different types of tools. In addition, they must be able to explain their work to different people, many of whom are highly educated. School teaches people how to socialize and give a good impression of themselves as well as all the above skills. A person who is ignorant and gives a bad impression will not be welcome in business environments or in people's homes. It is very important to finish school because it proves that you have persistence and stamina and can finish what you started. Companies rarely hire school dropouts and without an education you will not know how to run your own business. So the answer is YES, you really need to graduate from school.

There are not many jobs out there that don't require some higher ed. You may think that this is a waste now, but trust my I learned the hard way. I dropped out of high school because I thought it was a waste of time also. In the process pissed away a free ride to college and have spent the last 10 years working **** jobs and trying to finish college. So my advice is finish now because later is much harder. Also don't let the "college experience" go away with out trying it out first.

You should at least graduate from High School. It is almost impossible to get a job anywhere without a high school diploma.
