You are right. Society does do that. We think it is so cute when little ones want attention and then we criticize it in people as they get older. I do not think wanting attention is a negative thing at all.

I think it's because alot of but not all of the time the individual/s that desire attention go about obtaining it in the wrong way. There were kids in my high school who adored having attention and their way of doing it was acting out in class and making fun of people all of time. At work the way customers try to get attention is by yelling really loud and making a huge unnecessary scene. People definently have the right to feel lonely but don't lower yourself to try and get people to pay you attention.

I think your wrong, i think society looks down on people who think they deserve more attention than someone else. Nothing makes you better than me, and nothing makes me better than you.
