As long as Matt Millen is the GM, the Detroit Lions will always be doomed doormats of the NFL.

well, who knows? look at their divison, heck look at their confrence. The NFC is a terrible confrence, so anything could happen.
but their are some problems....
1. NO QB!!! They have some great recievers, but they do not have a quaterback or offensive line! If they had that they might have a fairly decent offense
2. Bears and Packers- They are both strong teams. In my opinion they r in one of the best NFC confrences, but thats not saying much is it?
3. Where's the D? They dont have a very powerful deffense. The offense can only carry them so far when they get a QB.
but then again....
1. Calvin Johnson- maybe hes good enough to improve the quaterback. Who can't hit someone who's wide open?
2. QB of the future?- The QB the lions drafted in the 2nd may be a winner. Who knows how good he is?
3. The NFC- The NFC is incredibly weak. Who knows what'll happen?
so in other words, we will have to see. once we see the rookie QB and reciever in action, we will know what they r capable of.

To get there, the Lions must win their division. Who's in the way?
Packers - yeah right. Brett should have retired already.
Vikings - will battle for sorriest NFL team in 2007. Where's the scoring?
Bears - can score on any play except offense.
I think the Lions will have an explosive offense but won't stop anyone. Translates to around .500, which won't win the division and isn't any guaranteed wild card. Cinderella may dance next year in a light blue gown, however.

Sorry, but no. It will be the Bears and Packers in the central, while the Vikings and Lions are at the bottom of the division.

No, they still have a lot of work to do. Don't get me wrong, the team is moving in the right direction, but they still need this final piece of the puzzle, and that is the quarterback.

they'll be respectable and might knock a few other contenders out of the playoffs but they probably won't make it themselves. give them one more year to develop their talent and they will contend. i say they will finish in the 8-8 range

I siresly think they will if their defense holds up because no one will stop their offense with Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson going with each other.I think they will go 9-7.

No way man. They still have no O-line. They still haven't learned. Barry Sanders never had a good O-Line, they wasted his talent just like they will CJ and Roy Williams.
Detroit will never ever have good football. EVER! Stick to basketball and hockey, and maybe baseball for a few years.
