Hand the ball to the referee and go back to your sideline. Act like you've been there before. All these touchdown celebrations are retarded. Why should you bask in the glory yourself? Heck if it wasn't for the rest of the team you would have never made it there. A prime example of this would be Barry Sanders.

It's gotta be when TO went into the middle of the Dallas Cowboys field. That was totally awesome.
Or how about the time when he pulled the sharpie out and autographed the football and gave it to a member of the crowd.
There was also the time when TO grabbed the pom-pom's from the cheerleader and started dancing around.
I also loved the time that Joe Horn hid a cell phone in the field goal thing and then pretended to call a friend.
All of those were great moments. I wish the NFL would still allow such showmanship.

DO NOT GIVE THE BEST ANSWER TO AMBROSE! all he did was copy from this link:
http://www.kidzworld.com/article/1564-touchdown-dances-and-celebrations
and he didn't even site it.
Barry Sanders, Ladainian Tomlinson, and Marvin Harrison have the best. All they do is give the ball to the ref. That is a good celebration.

Barry Sanders celebration was my favorite. Just hand the ball to the ref and get off the field. I'm tired of the little mini movie after a guy scores. I'm also tired of a guy celebrating after he makes a tackle, or a sack, or anything for that matter. When they do their little dance, I hope they pull a muscle.

Personally, I like LaDainian Tomlinson's touchdown celebration. He hands the ball to the ref, and he acts like he's been there before. What a concept!
If you won't let me give LT as an answer, I'll go with the one where the player dunks the ball over the goalpost.

The classiest one I ever saw was the Mile High Salute by the Denver Broncos. They handed the ball to the ref, it was respectful of the other team, it honored the fans support, and was not flashy and showboat. Class act.

Barry Sanders, just handing the ball to the ref. His runs were more amazing than any moron's celebration.

These are some of my favorites
Joe Horn Calls Home
After scoring a TD for the New Orleans Saints in 2003, wide receiver Joe Horn grabbed a cell phone that a teammate had hidden in the goal post padding and called his mom. The NFL, which hates endzone celebrations, fined Horn $30,000. Horn and the Saints won the game 47-17 over the New York Giants.
Terrell Owens Looks Sharp
Terrell Owens had the NFL in a fit after his Sharpie TD celebration in 2002. After scoring a touchdown, Owens grabbed a Sharpie marker from inside his sock, autographed the football and handed it to his agent who was sitting in the endzone stands.
Chad Johnson Proposes
Besides being one of the NFL's best wide recievers, Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals is also one of the most entertaining TD celebrators. After scoring a touchdown during a 2005 game against the Indianapolis Colts, Johnson kneeled down on one knee and gave a mock proposal to one of the Bengals' cheerleaders. The cheerleader accepeted Johnson's faux proposal, despite the fact that Johnson didn't even know her name!
The Lambeau Leap
After a touchdown in Green Bay, the player who scores for the Packers will jump into the stands at the back of the endzone where he is mobbed by the fans at Lambeau Field. You may have seen this ritual performed in 2004 by running back Ahman Green.

I agree that one was the best NFL celebration, but an even better one was in the movie "The Replacements". One of the "Washington" players has just scored, and several of his teammates gather around him in a circle. He points the ball at each one in turn, when they fall over like they've been shot. Finally, he points the ball at his own head, and falls like he had committed suicide. The ref just has this "WTF?" look on his face. Funny stuff.
