You might just think you are. Just because you can touch and smell and taste etc doesn't mean to say that you aren't the illusion itself.

Well can you have an illusion within an illusion because a dream is simply an illusion so that's how i think i'm here because in a dream you cant touch smell etc. so i don't think you can have an illusion within an illusion or else the world would just be an illusion within an illusion within an illusion....etc. and we'd never get out

If you refer to me as something, I theoretically exist. I have one consciousness. My mind can't be an illusion. An illusion is a trick played on the mind.
If you're asking how I know I am alive or in this place at this moment or some such nonsense, of course I don't!

Because the odds that all of this is an illusion are so remote as to not be worthy of my time.
