Likely because Nomar got traded to the Cubbies (in a four-team deal that also involved Montreal and Minnesota - the two teams MLB tried to get rid of) for Doug Mientkiewicz and Orlando Cabrera.

You'd feel the same way if you were traded away in the middle of a season where the Red Sox won the World Series.

LOL! Why should he be pissed? He was healthy and REFUSED to play against the YANKEES around mid season 2004. He got a ring, that yr, just like anyone who played for the Sox that yr. He was a fake and will alwyas be. Im wondering if he wants cheese with the whine!

They got ride of him
You as an employee of a company
If you get passed over for a promotion or do not get to be the lead on a project. It hurts.
YOu and I and all work your butts off and do not get the accolades at times.
He is a human first. We all are.
That is the reason.

Examine your personal experience and you can then answer this better.

Thanks and I am not negative. Realistic.
