It's because people where you're from (and where I'm from as well,) believe that football should be given priority over everything else, and that if you aren't a football player, you aren't nearly as important as that. People need to get a life. It's just a game! I love football too, but once the game's over, it's over. It loses all importance outside of its own sphere of influence. I think we'd be a lot better off if there wasn't so much attention given to prep football as well.

Hay I just read the other question, and I have to say, people just total missed the point. You are right. While living in Texas (Beaumont) I took noticed, they they cared so much about football, they were letting everything go to hell. They even put in the newpaper they were shocked to find out a robotics summer class was filled and had a waiting list of girls! Texas really at times makes me think that everyone's gonna get lift behind in skills that are needed, to meet todays needs. Footballs great, but 99% of those players aren't gonna make it big. And um they're pleanty of other people in the state.

But yeah, people need to think before answering.

you should run alot case ur not big and if you run fast and dont get tired the coaches will be impressed you should also get stronger but its only really nessisary to the point where your not week and when you play try to juke people and chop block and if you do then people will kind of pause before they hit you and you will not get trucked but when it is nessisary you really need to just hit sometimes though in football so you should decide what moments to do so and not be scared and make sure you lower your sholder and whrap up try to hit people in the gut with your sholder and put your head on the ball and use your arms so the do not get away from you if you do that you should be good

The responses that you got didn't seem that bad. One thing you have to realize is that most (not all) people are negative. Don't let it get to you, I have only asked one question and people took it as a personal attack and instead of answering the question, they attacked me. All you can do is be better than them, and ignore it.

Because we are tired of football being forced by Title IX to pay for womens sports. When the NCAA has the women basketball tournament they fly 2 teams to a neutral site so that they can attract a crowd of less than 2,000 it's not worth what they are paying for. It is driving the ticket price to the NFL level. College football can't afford a playoff system because it is forced to provide "equal facilities" to women's athleatics. There are no successful women's sports, because there is no interest in them.

I have to dis-agree I read the comments and there was no negativity. Except for one bonehead the rest just answered the question as you posted it. They seemed polite and expressed their point of view.

I read the answers to the previous question and I didn't think they were particularly negative or angry-sounding...
