They prefer to be in group of the same species, but they will certainly do fine in a mixed group as well.

Corys are education fish and school via trend... they are going to be happiest with 6 plus of their very own style ( trend) interior the absence of this they are going to seek for organisation of alternative cories, yet wont be chuffed and would exchange into under pressure, which leads to sickness... considering the fact which you have a ten gal tank- pandas are smaller than the different 2 varieties- id return the peppered and alibino, and get 4 pandas.... wait some weeks, then upload a pair extra.. 6 pandas and a trio of guppies with a snail would be pushing the tank limits, yet is very practicable in case you hold up with water modifications- the extra cories you have- the happier they are....and the extra relaxing they are to video reveal!

The corys should school together just fine though personally I think it looks a lot better with the same type of cory.

I've read somewhere it is totally fine but it would be better if they are of the same species.

Same species is always better for grouping. Remember the famous english saying "Birds of the same feather, flock together".

THey should school altogether. Get atleast two of each species and three differrent species.

It has been my experience that they will shun the albino.
