I'm not to great at writing poetry but i thought i'd get some opinions
GoodBye
"Baby we'll always be together
But our relationship is starting to weather
We both knew it couldn't be forever"
These were the last words you said to me
You said we just couldn't be
But I have something to say to
Our love was never true
Our relationship was always through
You said you'd never break my heart
But you were dishonest from the start
You always told me to own it
You told me to live in the moment
You were just a fake
You never gave but would always take
You said "Give me one more try"

Wow, I think you just wrote my life story.. ;)
That's a great poem. It's so sincere and meaningful.
I wrote a really good poem back in highschool (about 7 years ago) and didn't keep it. I wish I had. Now I can only remember half of it.

Honest oppinion: it was pretty sappy. Not really that great, just your average "my girlfriend dumped me" emo poem. if i were you i would try to write about a less exhaused topic.
